Google tells that diskutil has got the resizeVolume option since 10.4.6 version of the OSX.

Referring to this site, further down the page (in the comments) is a discussion which concludes that this is only possible on intel based macs (and some later G5 PPC macs based under certain circumstances). As I've never used a mac before I wouldn't know, just reading up myself too.

If you do find a way to resize your existing partition(s), it's reassuring to know that many people in the thread (including myself) have successfully set up the dual boot system following jacadcap's guide.

Amigadave seems to be the only unlucky one so far in losing his existing setup.

That was probably more due to operator error than anything else. I still have not slept since I saw the announcement for the release of v2.4 yesterday. I think I will try to take a nap and then get up and install v2.4 on my Efika. I still have lots to do before I leave for the AmiWest Show and I am running out of time. But I won't complain, as the release of MOS2.4 for the MacMini is more than worth missing a bit of sleep (sleep is really over-rated after all).

Sure, it's being worked on and we hope to get it supported in the next release but don't expect it in a week or two (just look at the previous release cycles ....). We just didnt want to delay the release any further.

thanks for the positive reply, i'll be paitient !

I just noticed that even after a reset the date and time of the items in Ram:env/ keep the date and time of the last shutdown of the Peg2, this is with MorphOS 2.4 installed. Is this normal? Shouldn't it be updated even with a warm reset?

Should they be updated? "ENV:" contains copies of files in "ENVARC:", which could have all kind of assorted dates.
But, if I remember correctly, the "COPY" command does generate a new date on the files it copies, unless you use the "CLONE" option. So you should have static, old dates (relatively) in "ENVARC:" and current dates in "ENV:"...

    @ jcmarcos

sorry I did not explain myself correctly, what I mean is that after a warm reset of the Peg2 the dates and times of the files which are in ENV: are them from the last shutdown. Which means that if I shutdown the Peg2 on the 14.10.2009 10:00
and not anymore up to today and today the 15.10.2009 16:00 I do a warm reset then after the reset the date and time in ENV: (the directory in RAM) has still 14.10.2009 10:00. I found this strange because normally the files from env-archive are copied to RAM after a reset and should have the current date and time. I tried this on another Peg2 with MorphOS 2.2 installed and it works that way, files have the date and time when the warm reset was done.
