As MorphOS is not about misleading people with carefully written statements where you can read what you want... I think no MorphOS team member will kill me if I claim the OS will not be released for another CPU architecture in the next 12 months.
And, yes, I just made up this number so please do not try to read some hidden information... i.e. no, there will not be an ARM or x86 port in 12 months plus 1 day ;-)
In short, the 3.0 bump is simply for down-to-earth reasons.
