Sound fix for volume level on MacMini, eMac, & PowerMac?

    If you got a SoundBlaster, you have to select emu10k1.

    Ok, I just opened the case and saw no SoundBlaster card (I wrongly assumed that all PowerMac MDD had one)... So I only have the onboard sound chip, hence the AppleI2S driver... Still, the sound is very low, so it doesn't work well (the chime sound works perfectly good and is very loud ;) ).

    So what should I do? Is there a way to fix the sound anyway, or should i buy a Soundblaster Live! ?

    Buy a SoundBlaster is the easiest and faster way.

    I don't know but my sound is quite loud through headphones via mini jack on front panel of my mdd.

    I have a MDD and i have the same Soundproblem with OSX everything is fine but in MorphOS the sound output is to low.
    PowerMac G5 Quad 2.5 running UWQHD Resolution

    Thanks :) I'll do that. Would a Soundblaster Live 5.1 work too (even just in 2.0)? They seem to be more common than the 2.0 ...
