    glad your seem sensible.

    just word how can paypal be automated response when it mentions my email ???maybe they are physic.

    still no joy i have 4 more days until its automaticly returned to me,so i will be looking into those other sellers hopefully be able to get me hands on a peg.

    and put all this behind me.

  • We have already pressed on resolve and entered the tracking information. Then we have faxed through the shipping reciept to Paypal

    Now the money is on hold until they refund him.

    We cannot choose refund the buyer becuase we have already chose enter tracking information so unless he cancels the dispute its upto paypal and is out of my hands.

    So we have sent the item and entered the tracking information so we cant refund him. We have asked Paypal in email and on the telephone to return the funds to the buyer but they say it could take a while now becuase they havent heard from the buyer.

    We sent it out Royal Mail Specail Delivery and it has gone missing so we are claiming on it but the money in paypal from the buyer is on hold becuase he placed a dispute on it...his own fault really, he shouldnt have put a dispute through now he has to wait ages to get his money back unless he want to end the dispute and we can send him out another boards or refund him instantly.

    This is why I dont accept or use paypal any more. Its a mess and they tend to close accounts if they feel they dont like how your doing things or what ever. I lost $3000 myself to an account they froze and I still havent got it back. That was over a year ago now. Take a look at paypalsucks.com for some shocking information.

    yes well you need lessons in paypal then,if he was to have put money into his paypal from his bank he could have paid me back straight away he chose not too.
    so no i have to wait becase of him,i know how paypal works i sell on ebay all the time ,i also had to give a refund as i sold a motorhome but buyer coulnt have it because it was too tall so i gave them a refund and had to go through this process,guess what it took my 5 minutes to refund him FUNNY THAT ISNT IT.

    ohh and amber inc also told me today that my pegasos got sent to the wrong place and it will be delivered by the 5th well tomorrow is the 5th im not holding my breath.

    so its gone from stolen at the post office to delivered somewhere else ooohhh and now its on its way back to me,these motherboards certainly shift they must be warp speed.

  • Your item went the wrong way or was delayed for some reason. we sen it out on the 23rd of Septemeber as you know and Royal Mail knows so go and check it out.

    Ive give you the tracking number and Royal Mails "track and trace system" says that it will be delivered by tommorrow...so the least you could do is end the dispute in paypal.

    We have evn sent you photo's of the shipping reciept

    I guess that when Royal Mail got my claim forms they had a more extended search and now its being redelivered.

    Well you will get your board afterall it seem's

    Very bad service for Special Delivery!

    You puut the tarnsaction in dispute so he could not issue a refund *based on that transaction* I agree he could have put money into the account and paid you back but as the guy has done his level best to track and trace what went wrong with your board that shipped, why would he?

    Frankly after all the stirring you did on the forums, amber-inc is a saint for their perseverence here.

  • The customer has stated the the lost Pegasos II G4 has eventually turned up today as provided by Royal Mail Specail delivery.

    He said he will not remove the dipute in Paypal until he has tested it!

    The Pegasos has full warranty with myself and Bplan!

    Now the Pegasos has turned up the least the customer could do is end the dispute as he has recieved it now and it has full warranty!

    you must like crap service when somebody says nextday it should be nextday.

    and the only reason its finally turned up is because of this pressure if i had not give him any hassle theres no doubt in my mind i would have lost 400 pounds.

    and the dates on the postage and the first tracking number dont add up.

    what he has done is sent me another board when he finally got hold of 1 thats the truth of it so dont call me a stiring idiot because i aint.

    and considering all the mouth i have got off here i will be selling the crap pegasos straight away to some poor sod that thinks there good i will also go out my way to make sure everybody in the world knows that they will get no support from this forum if something goes wrong like an idiot trying to be a business man when there not ie amber twat faces.

    im outraged the customer doesnt get any help from the os forum the motherboard runs on and comes with how disgusting.

    so end of line this is the last youll see of me here but ill be out there spreading the word to make sure you die just like the amiga.

    and amber buddy you aint heard the last from me whever you go ill be there watching waiting ready to destroy you.and i will sucseed beleive me.

    You were entitled to complain as you order something and did not get it. However as you put a dispute on the paypal payment the dealer did not get the money so you should not be entitled the service.
    Now the dealer has managed to get the Pegasos to you while he still never got the money.

    Please save us from the childish threat/insult posts. You got the board, you should pay it and be happy with it now.

    I don't think you understand. Amber did get the money. wehead opened the dispute after paying, and then waiting weeks for a board that never arrived.

    AFAICT, someone bought a product and paid for it. The delivery was slow due to some problems with transportation (or whatever), but according to the tracking number the product finally got where it should?

    What's the problem here? And more importantly, why should *I* have to read about this private dispute?

    This whole thread has been such a waste of public bandwidth. It should have been handled in private IMHO, I have no wish to spend my time reading hate messages that turns out to have no bearing in the end, by some trigger happy person that is too hasty to jump to conclusion and polluting forums about it.

    OK, sorry if I got it wrong.
    What count in the end is that the customer got the goods and the reseller the money.
    The reseller should make sure it is better handled next time and the customer should refrain from doing such comments as his last one.

    For what it's worth, I met Amber Inc at the recent Big Bash 3 in Peterborough. I purchased a Pegasos II & Morphos from them paying with Paypall. I had Amber deliver the board directly to AmigaKit to be built into a system for me.

    The board arrived at AmigaKit 2 days after I purchased it. So far no problems with Amber Inc for me. I would have posted sooner but it has taken a couple of weeks to get registered on this site.

    @ amber Inc ... Sorry about the pissant table you were given at BB3. The first I knew of your presence was when you turned up !!

    Still, It looks like you had a profitable journey.. So it was all worth it. Hope all you "Blue Boys" enjoyed yourselves.. Roll on BB4.
