I'm getting a requester on a few programs when tying to run them on 2.4 on MorphMini namely getvideo, the new BluePaint. They say
"arexx reimplementation is not finished yet, if you want to use ARexx, please install your original rexxsyslib.library...

bluepaint also wants to mount a mos-office to proceed.

wetter says could not create MUI application error: object not found

Any help on these issues?

Better use a FlushLib command. You can't flush a library when it is in use. So, you need to close all apps using this library, including Ambient. Not tested in this particular case though :). RexxMast >NIL: is already in startup-sequence.

ok i threw a load of rx files in and along with snoopiums errors and got wetter going
bluepaint a bit different story, it needed a few custom mui classes , I loaded them but now it won't load up and still complains about rx files, it also wants a mount mos office but now it closes out before i can do anything

getvideo is working sweet again,

created a new problem, Ed doesn't load up on open with requester, no biggie though, I use nowin. Another is every now and them ambient will fail.

Not sure which error screen you mean, but the whole thing looks scary. I'd boot from cd and check my installation if i were you. :)

explain how to check, match up the files? in lib, then place them in lib(outside of mossys) some of the libs are needed for other programs. Now what's this about deleting rexxsyslib.library?

it wants to mount a volume gg when opening shell

remove this line:

weird I did but didn't get that screen, but the shell shows this new shell process 2 1;36mRam Disk:> 0m

on another note Is there a good gui mounter which will bring up devices, besides the one I messed up some how? I can't figure out which lib or mui interferred with it

IMO, if you have messed with MorphOS' system files and you don't understand/remember what you did then you should better reinstall the OS.

yea ...but then my get vid, mame and a couple of other programs won't work without dropping those lib or mui's in, I did swap out the mossys back to the original, but then my contexts in owb for get vid wouldn't work, the rexxsyslib thing, and wetter, won't work without the the files, I, dunno?
maybe this weekend i will again, but it's just those two problems I have edit, and mounter, edit I can do without, but mounter, is a necessity.
btw, did anyoun get bluepaint going? That was another program which wanted me to add some libs.

In looking at the snoop log, I noticed the exact errors when the mounter was mounted using the boot cd. So this may be a libs/mui ver. issue?
Everything else works fine.

Add MUI-Classes to SYS:Classes/MUI/ and
Libraries to SYS:Libs/

Delete MOSSYS:Libs/rexxsyslib.library and
copy the AmigaOS-3.1 rexxsyslib.library to SYS:Libs

If you simply delete mossys:libs/rexxsyslib.library, it will be installed again during the next MorphOS update. And you will have to delete it again. Bis repetita ad nauseam.

The better-and-official way to handle this... is to rename mossys:libs/rexxsyslib.library to mossys:libs/rexxsyslib.library_disabled.
And copy a 68k libs to sys:libs/rexxsyslib.library as usual.
The MorphOS updater will then detect this "_disabled" file and skip copying the PPC rexxsyslib.library.
So you will never have to delete/rename again this mossys file and copy an old 68k one.
