    Seeing as there have been videos of the last years' presentations I guess this will be the case again.

    To reconnect to the Original Topic though: I'm still looking forward to Bad Bramstedt 2012, with the hopes that at least *something* cool regarding MorphOS will be presented...

    I think it would be very cool to hear at least a few more words on these lines marked in red!

    :-)
    MorphOS is Amiga done right! :-)
    MorphOS NG will be AROS done right! :-)

    Yeah, I think the Q-box question is every bit as important as the ISA change.

    Yeah, much so. And this on the rather slow site that is MorphZone ;-)

    5 new videos from this year's event have been put online.

    Just watched Kronos presentation (Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Y5oIkeAtTQ) of his Steam Draw application, which I have not tried yet but looks very nice indeed. And Odyssey happily shows the SVG-images he throws at it. As it should, when the XML is correct! :-)

    And then at 15 minutes or so in the video, he shows the new dock/panel system! :-D

    All in all a very nice video. Couldn't understand more than a few words though (Sie sprechen zu schnell für meine 20 Jahre alte Schule Deutsch), but the pictures say a lot, and it shows very interesting stuff! :-)

    Edit: the "Rundgang" (walkaround) video was cool as well (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMRXnI7q-QY)! Looks really nice and kind of cozy! :-) A kind of gathering I would love to go to myself! :-)

    Edit: Carsten Siegner's presentation http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CettdXUh5bc) I never really got a clue about. My language barrier was too high there. It seems kind of interesting though from time to time, but what was it *really* about, can someone please tell? :lol:

    Edit: Geit showed off Grunch (running on an iBook(!!)) in numerous ways (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pg_8ZaokIA) and some other. Cool! :-)

    I haven't watched it yet, but according to http://twitter.com/amigameeting/status/259646185797742593 it was about Scriba and about using GPS on MorphOS.

    Good video, has got me interested in Steamdraw and it's good to see the new panels coming to fruition. I'd played with a demo previously, but never got to grips with all the changes (eg it took me a while to find the prefs!).
    The crash/rebooot had me laughing along with everyone else at BB though. ;-)

    Atmosphere seemed great from the walkaround - was surprised to see so many people/systems (was that an A1X1K?). Might have to see if I can scrpae the cash together for next year (and practise my German).

    My German is no doubt rustier than yours, but the Scriba demonstration was self-explanatory for the most part. Good to see image resizing/rotation available (the user interface looks great for that, and it's something I need for document creation) and text-wrapping - both smooth and intuitive - great work Carsten, Scriba is coming on in leaps and bounds. Expect a Christmas bonus from me for that ;-).

    Fell asleep just after putting Geit's presentation on (no offense Geit, I was just very tired) so will watch that later.

    Video #5 seems to be from 2010, just posted this year.

    Many thanks to whoever was driving the camera, and to all attendees. Hope everyone had a good time.

    Yes, probably. There was one announced to be there:

    Actually, the 5th video is the Alinea one, probably without any relation to MorphOS though (instead mostly about new classic hardware apparently).

    SteamDraw uploaded to Downloads here on MZ does not seem to have these two bugs anymore.

    Scriba is on hold as the author in the video says. It does all he wants and now he stops development. For more features he would have had to plan it from the start, he says.

    New version:

    Maybe the author changed his mind?

    @granny
    Bout the "Rundgang" early on you can have a sneak peak at SteamDraw-sources and me failing to last-minute fix that annoying bug.

    A bit later on you see the mighty Pega-1 quietly listening to TammySommy presenting his X1000 (which was in the same C= case as my Y2000, only that mine had a working side-panel fan and looks way more cool (and was prooven faster too)).
    BadBramstedt should be easy to reach from Sweden by ferry/train and in the last years we allways had visitors from Austria (HAK and his nemesis) so no excuses accepted for 2013 !!

    @connor
    The bug is 100% still there as I have just "fixed" it last weekend. "fixed" cos I still need to do some more changes to make SteamDraw work again as it should and because it might come with some compromise.

    @granny/boot_wb
    I could need some betatesters/translators for SteamDraw, new versions are made available via Grunch so you would need to have that installed.
