Jason McMullan of AROS 68k fame as well as Samuel Crow (aka Samurai_Crow) have already purchased their airline tickets to attend the 2012 AmiWest Show this Oct.
Steve Jones (aka clusteruk) has also indicated his desire to attend the show and do a presentation of AROS, but will not be able to attend unless he is able to raise some of his travel costs from the AROS community or one or more sponsors. There is a thread at AROS Exec asking for AROS users to show their interest in supporting Jason and Steve attending the show. Some of this money might go toward Samuel Crow's travel expenses, or the AROS display table rental as well.
I am planning on representing MorphOS again at the 2012 AmiWest Show, but would sure love it if some more MorphOS3.x users could also attend the show and perhaps do a presentation of MorphOS3.x during the show to save me from embarrassing myself again.
It will be a damn shame if there is a stronger AROS representation at the 2012 AmiWest Show, than there is for MorphOS3.x.
I hope to see at least one or two of you at the show.
