    This is the strangest issue.

I have a PB with 3.0, it was working perfectly with my NAS via SMBFS.

Now it won't connect with a 'unknown host' error.

I thought the NAS had a problem so I tried connecting to it with my Peg II, no problem at all.

I can connect to other windows shares on my PB via SMBFS. That's why this one is so strange.

I can use same command on both boxes running MOS 3.0 and the same version of SMBFS. One connects and the other doesn't.

After I try to connect to the NAS it trashes the internet on the PB and I have to reboot before I can get on the web.

    Any Ideas? A bug ???

You need to add the NAS with the correct name to hosts list in MorphOS preferences.

SMBFS is quite stupid. Even if you access a device by IP it checks for a name in host list and if there is non, it fails.
