Its been a while since last time I updated my Mos installation, so I must admit I have totally forgotten about the process.

Is it possible to boot into 2.7, insert a 3.0 cd and update from there, or must I boot from the cd and start from scratch?

I do have a dual boot setup osx/Mos and I dont want to mess it up.
Also I would prefer that I could keep as much as possible from my old Mos preferences setup.

Any tips regarding updating the MacMini would be welcome.

It is as we Americans say "Easy as Pie".

You just boot from the CD and choose the "Update" option instead of the New Install option and the appropriate files are copied to your hard drive and installed over your existing MorphOS2.7. IIRC, it will save your old files in a new directory, just in case you need to go backward, but it will not touch your data files or preferences.

It is extremely easy and quick.

A very "Professional", well thought out way of updating to the new version.
