Hello Papiosaur,

Since I don't think you have completed a new version of your "Pack Ultimate" for MorphOS3.0, I decided to edit the installation script for your last version of the Pack Ultimate to permit it to install on my G4 PowerBook running MorphOS3.0.

It was the first thing that I installed after a clean installation of MorphOS3.0 on my 17" G4 PowerBook, model 5.9. I then downloaded the most current version of Grunch and ran it to update all of the software that is installed by the Pack Ultimate and is also included in one of the several Grunch databases, so I would have all the most current versions of those software titles.

I then installed a few more software programs that are not included in the Pack Ultimate.

My suggestion to you Papiosaur, is to work with the author of Grunch, including the few developers who are creating their own Grunch database entries, so their software can be installed correctly, with all needed file and library dependencies also installed, so your next Pack Ultimate will place all of its software programs and games in the same locations as the Grunch entries, or ask the author of Grunch to match the software locations that you are using in your Pack Ultimate, so there will not be any duplication of files, and both your Pack Ultimate and Grunch will work together seamlessly.

FYI, when installing the Pack Ultimate, no matter which drawer location I specified for the files to be downloaded to, they always download to RAM:, so you might want to check your code in the installer script on the next version, so it will work and place the downloaded files in the location that the person running the installer asks to have them downloaded to.

Also, will your next version of the Pack Ultimate allow people using your previous versions to upgrade, or must they uninstall your previous Pack Ultimate before they can install your new version of the Pack Ultimate, when it becomes available?
