    Hello,

I purchased used MacMini G4 clocked at 1,42GHz from prof. Morbius Peruggi who is buying a more powerful PowerBook machine and he will acquire a brand new MOS licence.

In the next future he will advice Morphos Team that his licence of MacMini now belongs to me.

Should I made something, like submitting somewhere some of my personal data (name, address), or should I made anything but waiting for a mail confirming that I am the new licence owner?
Bill Gates "Think!", Steve Jobs: "Think different!" So... Let these guy continue blabbering thinking and enjoy computing! We are on Amiga!

I would also like to know this, I purched a Mac Mini last year off ebay complete with MOS install, can I transfer this licence so I own it on the MOS database?

I guess the 1st starting point ought to be RegTool. Enter your data and under purpose that you want to reregister it from the previous owner.

AFAIK this will generate some sort of error-message (as the machine is allready registered) and put up some red flag in the team registration-system.

You might also want to raise your case in #morphos or the maillist.

Might be worth pointing out that even if you won't do anything, all will work just fine. Only difference being the name displayed in about -window.

On the other hand, if something goes wrong (system breaks up, you lose the keyfile (which you should back up) or something) it might be good if it was registered for you though...
