    I know not likely and they aren't on the Google Map. It is worth a shot :-)

    OTOH if you are in South Florida and interested but don't own MorphOS, I can give a demo.

    On occasion I visit Gulfstream Park and Calder. I wintered at Hollywood Beach many years ago. You can take me to fish at Dania Pier.

    I am at the other side of the country up at an elevation of 7,000 feet above Sea Level, but have been thinking of visiting Florida for a while now. If my back surgery goes well later this year, maybe I will be able to go to Florida this Winter and I can look you up.

    It is a shame that it is so hard to find MorphOS users in the USA to meet with occasionally, and talk about or demonstrate our MorphOS computers.

    I have tried to get some MorphOS users (or developers) to come to the AmiWest Show's in Sacramento every October, but I think only one other MorphOS user has shown up in the last 4 years that I have purchased (with donations from others the last two years, thanks) a display table there.

    I wonder how many MorphOS users there are in the USA? Since this seems to be the main English language MorphOS forum site, I would think that most, if not all, MorphOS users in the USA use this site for most of their MorphOS news and discussions.

    A poll here asking how many MorphOS users are from the USA would probably be fairly accurate (if the users in the USA would participate in the poll? I think we went through a similar exercise not too long ago, trying to find out how many MorphOS users there are all over, not just in the USA).

    You are welcome to come visit my place anytime you like redrumloa (or anyone else who is a MorphOS or Amiga user, but it would be better to visit after my back surgery and recovery. Hopefully that will get scheduled some time between May and August, or I might miss the AmiWest Show this year).

    I think it may be over the top but a great MorphOS 3.0 unveiling on the East Coast.
    It's seconds away from me in my home town :)

    As even US-American MorphOS users like yourself don't know how many others there are, what would make more sense than a poll asking the participants for estimates of how many MorphOS users are from the USA is a poll just asking the participants whether they are from the USA, I guess ;-)

    True, your "How many MorphOS users are there in the USA?" thread has been extended to cover the whole of North America by you during its course.

    Ah, so you've been there since the pier was remodeled? :-)

    amigadave,

    If you do make it down later this year, let me know. I only made it to AmiWest once back in 2003. As you can probably imagine 3,100 miles each way is quite a hindrance.

    Good luck with the back surgery...

    @Andreas_Wolf,

    You can tell you are getting old when you can remember things you did 40 years ago better than the things you did last year, last month, or last week. :-P
