Main "+" of AEROS: it was promised for EfikaMX. So, I want to see it and I want to try it on my smartbook before to make my decision.

This seems very interesting! Am I to understand it runs OpenOffice?
Need more on what AerOS, AresOne actually is, and how Aros factors in

I think the video of it running Open Office was on a Linux machine hosting AROS, so Open Office is running from Linux, not AROS.
MorphOS - The best Next Gen Amiga choice.

    Hi,

yes i showed linux apps running on linux.

AEROS is a Linux / AROS Hybrid.

At the ground it is a debian Linux "Squeeze" in it's minimalistic form.
I started with 20MB debian... nothing more.

To make it booting faster AEROS will only run services we really need.
And there is not Linux desktop-environment like KDE or Gnome / Unity
    AROS is used as desktop.

As addition deadwood does the OpenGL wrapper for AROS. This allows to run AROS 3D apps with a existing Linux driver.

Fabio did help me with lx command..

"lx chromium-browser" in AROS-shell would call the linux Browser chromium.

Now we need a bit fine tuning.
    AEROS is mainly done because:
    ARM
    x64
Running AMC on cheap ARM systems
Experimenting with Corebios and AEROS as supervizor
