    Hi!

We have spoken to Bernd from Yellowtab (Zeta) and have agreed to get them a Pegasos II. They should have it ported quickly.

    :-)

Indeed, the day is already here that there is more OS's on the Pegasos
than what even a "normal" power user will have on their machine. We
now want to see many of those OS's become "standardized" on the
Pegasos, with real installers, easy to configure set-ups, and all the
other things needed to give mass-appeal. :-D

    But first! We need Peg-]['s!!!

    targhan: yep, so true.

IMHO it's a good sign that BeOS once again will be available to PowerPC sytems. It's nice OS and deserves more attention and further development,

in an interview with someone from yellowtab on osnews (pretty recent) they said somehting about posibly using the kernel from openbeos in the future......sounds like no kernel source to me.....

    Well, actually it might not.
Using a kernel that are in several projects will insure a steady progress in kernel development.
The BeOS kernel is a bit outdated now, at least compared to NewOS/OpenBeOS kernel.
If they say that they will port Zeta to Pegasos (And I trust and belive BBRV) - they must have the kernel sources.
This reminds me of not being to much a doomsmonger and prejudge Zeta/YellowTab.
BeOS fans should watch out for rumourizing to much :-)
