Hi, I'm using MorphOS 1.4 and have a new 1920x1080 monitor but I get a stretched display with an out of sync error (even though it displays) - I haven't figured out yet how to use ModeEdit to work with this monitor, any tips?

Actually I'd also like to know how to configure it for 1600x900 and 1920x1200 too... oddly I can create a screen mode with ModeEdit but the monitor still says out of range and the screen modes don't give me an option of anything other than 1280x1024... confusing

    thanks, Julian

On one of my Pegasos machines to get the correct monitor settings: I booted the morphos 2.x demo (which has ddc) and noted down all the monitor settings. I then booted into 1.4.5 and entered them into ModeEdit. My monitor worked fine after that.

Upgrade to 2.x and get DDC support...save yourself the hassle.

But in ModeEdit you should be able to pick from a set of pre-defined modes. It is not that hard but will take some fiddling.
