    You can try getvideo (http://www.morphos-files.net/find.php?find=getvideo)

A frame grabber is hardware to capture a digital image from analogue video.

I think you mean you want to convert a Flash video to another format ? If it's Flash video (FLV) and not a Flash animation then you can do that with mencoder. FLV is actually MPEG-4, IIRC.

Wish to use this hardware to bring a "Flash" video into the MorphOS to be further processed by legacy Amiga 3.1 applications with AREXX ports 8-)

That's one possibility. FLV can also be VP6, Sorenson Spark or Screen video. Refer to:

That is very expensive hardware. I think you can find other, cheaper, ways to make a screencast.

Why do you need to grab in FLV ? Do you already have the hardware ?

    > That's one possibility.

The majority of FLV is MPEG-4. Considering these devices have MPEG-4 as an output option the chances are that's the version of FLV they are using.

MPEG-4 has become a possible FLV encoding only 2 years ago. I wouldn't dare to make any such definite statement about proportion as of now ;-)
