Could anyone tell me how does an optimal boot-string for Efika with MorphOS 2.3 look like?

AFAIK there's no need to set up the 2d/3d parameter, as the new screen preferences make it obsolete.

OK, but what about ramdebug? Is it turned on by default? From what I read on morphos-team.net default size of rd for Efika is 512 kB, but do I need to turn it on first?

And which one is better/faster for an Efika user? serial or ramdebug? I guess serialdebug leaves that extra 512 kB free, but isn't it at the cost of performance? And if it's so, what if I set the rds to 0 or almost 0?

There's an example of "optimal arguments" on MorphOS Help Desk from morphos-team.net, that goes like:

> boot ide:0 boot.img rd rds 0

is that actual?

Serial debug makes no sense if there's nothing connected on the other side of the cable - it simply makes MorphOS very slow when there's some debug output.

The otpimal arguments on the website seriously need an update, they were wrong to begin with since rds 0 enables serial debug :) So the proper line would be:

boot ide:0 boot.img rd
