I whish to use a big transparency on the title barre controled by the skin and a very little tranparency added on all the window with Lucy.
Take a look at the following example skin:
DownloadIt features smooth rounded window edges and a transparent title area for inactive windows. In order to change an existing skin, you need to complete the following two steps:
1. Make copies of existing titlebar graphics and add the extension "Alpha" to each file name. (The reason why transparent title bar graphics use a different name is that they work only when 3D layers are enabled. In case somebody uses 2d layers, MorphOS will try to fall back to non-transparent versions of the title bar graphics.)
2. Change the title bar graphics according to your liking. Make sure that all PNG files include an alpha channel even if they contain no transparency.
With regard to transparent window borders outside of the top title bar area, this is in fact possible if you paint parts of the window borders inside the shadow graphics. This will allow you to create rounded window edged on the bottom of windows, for instance. This method also has a few downsides, however. For instance, if somebody maximizes a window, all border parts inside the shadow graphics will be moved outside of the visible screen area. Also, if you enable the option that allows to drag windows by clicking on their borders, you need to be aware that you cannot drag a window by clicking on its outer shadow area. However, all of these issues are hardly noticable if only very thin bitmap borders are included in the shadow graphics.
