Is it possible to run Morph OS on an A-1? I have such a beast, but no $ for another computer, and would like to try the OS.

    Thank you.

Ever consider selling your A1 while its still worth $1000? :-D

You could then buy a used peg1 for around $150 or so. :-D

There were rumors a few years ago about being able to reflash an A1 to
run MOS, since the chipset is the same. But, it was in no way
official and I kinda doubt anyone would tell you how it was done ;-)

But the reply suggesting you sell your A1 while it is still worth
bucks, is probably the best route to go with.

For what you get out the A1, you are (1) cut loose from a buggy piece
of hardware with no known support and (2) will get enough money from
some rabid purist that you can probably buy at least a PegasosII bare
motherboard, possibly even most of a complete PegII system. Which
will run, work, and has support..

Now, if only MorphOS would run on that Sawtooth AGP Mac motherboard
I've got lying around the house! :-)

Nope, it's 3 years old. "It's like a box of chocolates!" as Forest Gump might say :-o

If you haven't tasted them, then don't judge!
Gack, I can't belive I just said that!

    Hmm.. IIRC...

The best solution to wanting to run both MOS and OS4 would be a PowerUP card in an old Amiga. I know little about the A1 other than hear-say, and so I couldn't make a judgement call about selling, keeping, or reflashing.
