Well, what can I say. This is dedicated to my faithfull old friend, my Pegasos 1 ;)
We had a good time together and he was working all the time. We went from MOS 1.3 up to 1.4.5, had some Linux Adventures together (It took a whole week to install Gentoo from Scratch, we went through all the errors.)

I will never forget his funny April Ears
He replaced my good old Amiga, which since then has its retirment as an Arexx Webserver.

But he is still nice and working, so hopefully he will make his new owner as happy as he made me.

Although this is a sad moment, I am sure his succesor, my brandnew Peg II, which will arrive in a few days, will be able to comfort me.
Anyway it will be never the same again.

Good bye old friend, hope you have a nice time with your new owner.

Every end is a new beginning. Hope you'll like your new Pegasos 2. Also i hope your Pegasos 1 will be happy at his new owner!

Trust me, once you start your brand new Peg2 you are not going to miss Peg1 :)

Well, today now finally was the day. I almost had tears in my Eyes when i packed this cute tiny mainboard in this dark box ;)

The worst thing is, I have now to wait at least a week until the new Peg arrives, it`s a real nightmare to order things from the states when you don`t have a credit card ;)
So now the Pegless Week begins and I have to work with this noisy X86 Box.
Ah well... and those Bastards... Releasing all this cool 3D Stuff.. I am sure they did this just to annoy me :D
I even downloaded a Blender Tutorial Yesterday just to drool a bit ;)

Well, today was the day finaly ;)
My neighbour came today and complained about something which went wrong with his computer and told me "oh there arrived a package on Saturday..." Dammed, I nearly killed him!!
Now I sit in Front of the new Peg, everything feels faster (not to speak about double memory, 512 instead of 256 mb ;) ) there is absolute no distortion with sound under cpu load and so on :) I am totaly impressed also with those new 3D stuff which I can finally use :)

I went to some quirks (forgot to enable ram debug, had to fix the usb during startup bug) but now everything seems to work fine :) Next adventure will be Linux again, now that I am able to use an usb keyboard it is easy to select the right OS ;)

Yeah, I am happy, makes I nice birthday present (which will be a sad day acutally, I am getting 30!! *brrrrr*)

It's cool to have a Peg2 with 1Ghz CPU it rocks!
