A long time ago, I was lucky enough to recieve a case that was being looked at for use for Genesi. The case, no matter how cool it was, could not really be used for any sort of commercial applications. Time has passed, and there were several changes, direction changes, supplier changes, and well -- stuff.
Eventually, the ODW case that my PegasosII lived in began to have problems with it's power supply. The Pegasos then had to move back into that afore mentioned "beta" case (which doesn't get along so well with the USB connections from the Pegasos mainboard, but that's a story for a different day). Well, I couldn't very well leave that case bone-stock, now could I? With that, I changed the cpu fan to a lighted fan (the original fan was losing a bearing anyway, and I'm not ragging on anyone--because bearings to go out on occation), and decided to add a window....
Picture 1: Panel before cutting, in the yard where the project would take place.
Picture 2: Windowed panel just after it was installed, no power.
Picture 3: Wired up and ready to go. (too bad the light is hard to see when the camera uses it's flash.. will try to get a picture later without the flash)
Anyway, had a little fun with that project, and I am really grateful to my father in law for cutting the panel.
(not pictured) otherwise Allison and I had a good time for our anneversary, went out to eat... And, we missed the boat for the river-cruise we wanted to take.. ah well, I guess we'll do that next sunday.
