    Heretic II and Shogo demo works fine here.( in software render. Would be better in hardware render ) ;-)
    Freespace works, but hangs in the firsts missions.

    No i don't think that this Games will run on MOS. I got Heretic2, Quake, Quake2 and Freespace running but have problems with Shogo won't start!

    Software render is when all processing is done by the CPU.

    In software render, you need a very fast CPU to have a good rendering.

    Hardware render is when 3D procession is done by 3D chips on the graphic card.

    In Hardware render, a lot of work is done by the graphic card, then the cpu can do a lot of other things.


    In most of cases, in software rendering, there are a lot of Fx missing because they are very expensive in CPU time.

    Have you tryed to switch your graphic card to Big Endian mode by adding this tooltype on your icone GFX card ? RGB16BE=16.

    This will activate software rendering for shogo ;-)

    from MOS 1.3. I looked at the drivers and saw all options,
    but not this one.

    BTW: I tried Heretic-II-demo from AmiNet and if You set
    the software-render-mode in the config-file manually it runs.
