I'll trade my Peg1 G3/600 April2 ($500) with 256MB of Corsair memory ($80.00) and a voodoo3 AGP card ($50) for a Sonnet Encore/ST 1.0 or 1.2 GHz processor (new or used just so it works). The 1 Ghz sells new for $229.00. :-)

Wonder if it is better to sell the componants by themselves or cased like in my avatar. The Ram was the fifth brand I tried before I found a working one., so think it may be best to keep it with the board.

I meant $50.00 but that was price new. Not expecting to get anywhere near that. It probably is only worth $5.00. :) That's why I'd sell the whole contraption for about $240 so I can get a new mac processor. :) Did I mention that it also has a Sony CDRW?
    :-)

Hmmm.... Ok... don't kill me for asking, because Im a newb to the New Amiga type hardware... but Thats the low end Pegasos machine with next to zero problems? (i.e. the USB and IDE all works, with perhaps the exception of the built-in sound?)

And does the Morph OS come wif it?

It is. Only "lower" you could get is April 1 or pre-april (which you imho shouldn't, unless you get it for free / very cheap)

Well there ARE some (minor) problems. For example PCI TV tuner cards probably won't work well with AGP graphics cards. (Never tried myself)

Never had any hardware related problems (Of course some non-standard USB devices won't work)

The built-in sound works. BUT if you for example scroll a big window, it may couse corruption in the sound. Newer gfx card drivers made it happen less often.
With a separate PCI sound card makes it even less noticeable (I heard). But trust me - it's not as bad as it sounds. There's no corruption when you f.ex. watch a movie, listen to music, play games etc. as long as you don't scroll big windows!
