    Hey Peggers,

No offence to the Amiga we came from, but looking at the dnetc rc75-2 stats, it looks we are going to be overtaken again by the PPC/AmigaOS folks!

They are makin' 6,000 blocks a day, where the PPC/MOS gets only 4,000 blocks a day (check out the rc5-72 stats). C'mon folks, keeps those CPUs warm and crunching!

Well it look's like we got some more MOS CPU Power today.
    5726 blocks for PPC/MOS!

Let's see if we can keep it up.

Is there a MorphOS client or exciting stats to check each day? :-)

    @ JKD,

Yah, I agree Altivec support is a must, Hopefully we will see it soon. Along with maybe... 1.2 or 1.3 Ghz upgrade Modules. With these two working in Unison I could pump out nearly 300+ units per day :-)

oh,I've been cracking 24hrs for a year now and got so addicted thats the only thing I do,
i leave the client in pri +128 and rarely run any app so my altivecless cpu is dedicated
    to dnet 100%.
Would be better with a native mos client, im still using the WOS one :(

    @catohagen

Then you're not helping us, you are adding to the AmigaPPC totals :-?

Why not join us by using the MOS native Version!!

you do crunch with a Pegasos??

The Dnetc statistics we are looking at are not based on Teams, but show how many blocks per day each operating system contributes.

You need to have a dnetc client that is specific to your Operating system. the WOS version is for PPCAmiga operating system when You want to use the MOS version to contribute for MorphosPPC.

When you change to the Morphos native client You will still be contributing to Team Amiga. Its just that now you will be producing daily blocks under the Morphos operating system.

Don't be afraid to make the switch. When I first got my Peg, I contributed using the WarpOs native client. The Morphos Client is somewhat faster. On my Pegasos II G4 the Mos native client is about 1.5 times the speed of the WarpOs native client.

example with WarpOs client I crunched aprox: 1.9 to 2.7 Million Keys/sec. Using the Morphos native Client I now crunch 3.8 to 3.93 Million Keys/sec

Well, that was a short-lived peek of CPU power.

Looking at the dnetc rc5-72 stats now, PowerPC/MorphOS had a one-day peek and we're back to average now, with PowerPC/AmigaOS gaining on us.

I hope everyone's using the latest dnetc client that has MOS CPU power contribution built in (and I read it is almost twice as fast as the WOS version), otherwise we're going to be overtaken by the PowerPC/AmigaOS bunch.

I'm givin' her all she's got, capn'! Much more and she'll blow!

Actually, the way I see it is that while we are all waiting for the next version of MOS, we can use all our extra cycles to crunch. I've been doing it nonstop for months at 100%, interrupted only by an occasional software update. EVERYONE needs to run dnetc!!

Just do it. Don't argue! Just do it. Besides, your peg might just find the winning key!! :-)
