    Hello,

I saw this picture of a game at the Saku Party:

    http://dcs.suomiscene.org/temp/Saku2005/pic/P4130071.JPG

I tryd Google, Looks like a cool game :-), is it only
    for Linux and Mac ?!?!

Or is it a SDL port for MOS and it's not yet on the SDL support site by Innoidea ??

    Thx

It is a SDL port, useful to test SDL and stuff.

Neverball is an SDL game. I had this on my Mac for some time, just deleted it a day ago or so (which had nothing to do with the quality of the game, I just don't play games that much anymore).

It's quite nice, there are two playmodes. One is like Oxyd/Rock'n'Roll, the other one golf-like (Neverputt). But I find controlling the ball with the mouse a bit awkward. In any case controlling the ball is not nearly as smart as in Rock'n'Roll which was one of my favorite games ever .

It would not work on MorphOS 1.4.

I tried to compile it for morphos 1.4, I'll release the binaries if I ever succeed.

you wont succeed. its needs an implementation of opengl........a good one, 1.4.2 cant do it 1.5 will be able to.....(in theory)

During the last week-end at Alchimie4 (annual amiga meeting at Tain l'Hermitage, France), we could see and try (on friend's betatester machine) MOS port of Nerverball & Neverputt...

Personnaly, i'd rather the funny Nerverputt !

Mos1.5 and good OpenGL/TinyGL support seems in good ways... Yet a bit of patience before 1.5 release ;-)

I guess I couldnt get it compiled due to (more or less) broken SDL installation... Ill retry later when I get back home from sndf europe :-)

Was that theory based on the fact, that it has been demonstrated in public at least twice? :-)
