(chris) well bar we have had some good times together but...
(bar) your not going ot do what i think you are are you?
(chris) I am afriad it has come to this yes...
    (bar) why
    (chris) well....
(bar) have i not been treating you good enough
(chris) no no nothing like that its just
    (bar) is there someone else
    (chris) yes
    (bar) !
    (chris) I mean NO
(bar) I see how it is
(chris) its just, I liked to show you off and since, well, your not front page material any more....I'm sorry there is nothing I can do....
(bar slaps chris crying and runs away)

taking the bar off the front page has doomed it to death....as the main person who started threads here I see no reason to start there here any more. the bar is now avalible to all others....treat her good for me........(i wonder if this is my first step to sobering up?)

Sobering up? I think it's the first absolute viable evidence that you really are insane!

If you don't have the top40 bookmarked, you really should have. Besides, 90% of your posts actually belong in the gameroom ;-)

-edit- sweet mother of god! i just downloaded and havebeen playing witht he program and this goes on the "Poundsmack must have list." thanks DethKnight for pointing this out...any other awsome open source programs u know of? by the wya have u looked at the code? is it portable at all... i havnt checked yet but i will soon.....

by the way 5.1 will not install on xp....u need to get 5.1.2 or get the linux or solaris version..... but any people wanting ot test this program on xp need to email the company asking for the 5.1.2 pre-release......or find it on the site somewhere (which i could not do)

after looking at the code for the last hour i have decided as morphos is currently this would be a difficult port......the core itself od the program is relativly platform independent but some of hte librairies we dont have....its mostly in C++..........but havs a few dependancies we dont suport.....yet.......OpenGL (which is on its way), FLTK (which i decided i like very much as a tool kit, almost as much as i like WxWidgets), Tix 8.x (actualy a simple port), and TCL (which we *technicaly* have)......now most of the graphics dependancies could be swapped out for MUI (i think i have no real coding experience with MUI but i have read a lot of docs) so it really only needs opengl and a new MUI GUI......(but swapping out all the graphics code would be A LOT! of work).........my $0.02 :-)

K3B comes to mind, but you probably know about that already.

and I have another that runs on linux, its not truly open source, but Ii definitely qualifies as awesome in my book..

This program somehow understands the way I think I guess.
Would that be "intuition?" Oh and "dot.d e" is a german website yes?

They've pulled the amiga port d/l off the page though.

i wish i had no luck with the linux version but i got the windows version running on windows 2000 (wouldnt work on xp) but that is suposidly fixed in the 5.1.2 release (development) on linux opengl was configured incorrectly to handel the program...(one of many problems) and i didnt want to deal with it so i tried on windows.....
