Following
this thread and
this guide I prepared an SD 8GB via
this HAMA USB 2.0 Card Reader 35 in 1 with
PFSAIO3 68k. All went well.
After experimenting, I decided to format and change the partition to FAT32 for a different project.
I started by changing the MBR, and then creating (one full) partition, click "save" and then I got a message that the media was removed while HDConfig froze. Inserting the device again didn't bring it on Ambient. By hard reset, the SD was automount again and remained in its prior state (PFS3AIO68k).
The behaviour was reproducible many times until I decided to manually remove as a first step the filesystem on the device from HDConfig and then proceed with MBR/Partition etc.
I don't know if this is a bug or intended behaviour though.
By the way, what's the difference between FAT32o and FAT32L?
