Does MorphOS 1.4.2 have drivers for the gigabit ethernet of the Marvell chip? What about the firewire chip? Does it work yet? If no, when are they expected to be supported? I also remember someone saying that the parallel port of PegasosII doesn't work properly. Is it true? Is the problem in the software or in the hardware (OUCH!) side of thing? I'm asking these questions because the A1's drawbacks are: it's more expensive. with slower hardware (CPU, northbridge etc.), picky when it comes to SDRAM (like the peg1) and with the AC97 chipset without drivers. Also no firewire. I just want to know what the drawbacks of Pegasos II are.
I would be really dissapointed if anything on the board doesn't work as well as it is supposed to (for example the parallel). Has anybody managed to print through the parralel port in Linux?

BTW if Genesi manages to cut a deal with motorola for the new G4's that run@1.5, the pegasos will not have as big difference from the x86 pc that someone can buy for the same money. ;-)

--EDIT-- Has anyone heard anything about the JunGL 3d API lately? Any sample screenshots?

    hello Van_M,

At this time the gigabit and firewire don't work.
Just a few days ago there's released a driver for the parallel port, so this one works now (see some threads about this subject).
For me, I print through USB without any problems.

    Bye,
