Openbox is a window manager, thanks to its high configurability it can resemble the "MorphOS way". No more windows popping to front after a single click! Depth gadget just works! Close gadget on the left side! Double click on desktop brings a file manager etc.

Conky and Tint2 make a screenbar.

Unfortunately there is no global menu. There are some Mac OS like solutions, but they feel pretty hacky and mac os like.
I didn't mess with the system hotkeys.

P.S: Nothing really new, but recently I made a fresh linux install on one of my machines and decided to not just copy some config files locally but also share with you :).
