I had always knew there was an equivalent to Internet and Messaging in the 1970s.
I watched Mary Tyler Moore, which includes a dry erase marker white board as early as 1970.
It also includes "The News Wire" or "News Ticker" or just "The Wire".
In original "Charlie's Angels" includes a "Stock Ticker". as well as "Radio Phones". and Paging.
"The Wire" uses Teleprinters, which is similar to Fax.
But I never knew that Web Browsing existed as early as 1985.
http://www.symbolics.com/
Apparently one of the other computing pioneers just like Commodore or Atari or Digital or Acorn. etc.
and they created the first website.
Unfortunately their website is "Modern" now. It is over-designed to look like a preschool video game. Other websites have done the same thing, but the entire Symbolics website takes a lot of getting used to. I will try to look at again.
But I still am curious to see the original Symbolics design.
