    Over $13,000?
There are obviously some people with too much spare change.
What possible use could be made of it, its a prototype?

Waiting another few years and sell it off again for even more.
    The typical vintage investor approach.

Or just play Summergames on it and break a few joysticks - that's what I would do. Okay, a C64 would do that job, too. But...

The question is, will it even run C64 software?
    After all, its a prototype.
You can be pretty sure the features that make it more advanced than a C64 aren't completely implemented.

The last working one went for about 30,000 Euro IIRC. It is firmly in only ultra-wealthy collector/museum territory now.

It has expanded capabilities compared to a C64 and limited C64 compatibility. It would have been fun to see it released as it could have been Commodore's answer to the Apple IIgs. They were way too late to have marketed it though. If they designed and released it several years earlier than planned it could have been a fun computer.

I am following the Mega65 Project fairly closely. I hope it gets a proper release!
