ok is there a linux distrobution that is good for ONLY running mac on linux? we should have that for those who don't want linux but want mac OS

No such thing... MOL is a VM that runs on Linux.

BTW No more posts from you until you own a pegasos! You can buy a Peg1 now for $150 from some dealers so no excuse ;)

in 6 days i get to see a pegasos in action....then i buy...... .....i am sacraficing food money for it hehe.....well my new years resolution was to loose weight anyways hehe

not a bad idea either.....you would also be suprised as to how much furnature you can eat in in your house.....a leather coutch with enough BBQ sause could be a meal in itself

I have Debian 'sarge' installed, and i also
have MOL and OSX running, i always shutdown
the X server and KDE, and then i start MOL
from the plain console, don't know if it
speeds up things, but it seems better.

And i agree, i also like a basic linux,
without any programs, just MOL. A la
Amithlon.

We need MOM, Mac On MorphOS, that's the
solution, only i don't think Apple would
like it :)

Have to disagree with you here,
if you read all the MOL docs, you
will see it's illegal to run MOL on
a NON apple machine with MacOS.

Therefor it's possible to run linux
within MOL, people without apple
hardware may only run linux within
MOL officialy.

So a MOM would start give a reason
for apple to sue us.

Sphinx_Ra is right....it would cause a huge problem......for other reasons to....it is not that it is illigal to run MOL on non apple hardware that is the issue....the issue is it is illigal to run any MAC OS on non apple hardware......you are not paying for the opeating system itself but the licence to use it.,......so u have to play by there rules....
