Hi everyone. It's been a while since I tried Morphos. I just installed 3.8 on a Mac G5 7,3 with a radeon 9800 video card. Whenever I click on something the mouse gets very glitchy. For example, opening folders, etc. Is this normal?

    Thank you,
    John

Any chance that your 9800 is a flashed PC card ?

Those have a tendency to not work 100% resulting in ultraslow GFX stalling the system.

I don't think it is. It came with the mac.

    Thanks,

Is it just the mouse or are other gfx drawn slowly on screen too?

I am out of town until tonight so I will try again and report back.
It seems to me that whenever it is accessing the hard drive the mouse is much less responsive.

So if this is not experienced by others then I have to assume the video card is the culprit.

    Thanks

Not just the mouse. All GFX are slow to draw during hard drive access.

    Thanks,
