After spending six hours, I figure it is time for me to ask a NEWBIE question.

Here are the steps I have taken, that made me completely confused:
1. I visited http://meta-morphos.org/faq.php?id_cat=6&myfaq=yes&categories=Games
2. I visited the non-English page for "Integrate E-UAE into Ambient" and tried my best with Google Translate.
3. I downloaded and unpacked http://fabportnawak.free.fr/uae/E-UAE_0.8.29-WIP4.lha
3a. First, I had the folder in Work:E-UAE_0.8.29-WIP4, and then renamed it to E-UAE, and then, renamed it to UAE
3b. After still not working, I moved the UAE folder to My MorphOS/System/Emulation/
4. I found a document, "E-UAE_installation_on_MorphOS.docx". It is in English and so I followed the instructions, word for word.

Repeated Failed Result:
Install (12% done)
Copying file: Utilities.info
To drawer: System:
100% FROZEN: Pressing the power button to reset!

Ambient Output Window reports:
FILESYS: UNKNOWN PACKET lf
FILESYS: UNKNOWN PACKET lf

I guess that was supposed to be an emulated Amiga 1200 with Workbench 3.1. Next, I tried and failed to get Amiga 500 emulated; output is very undesired and unsatisfactory.

Other data to know:
1. I'm using "Transfer" to transfer needed files from the mounted AmigaForever.iso file on my Linux system. (My CD/DVD drive is dead, USB ports measure at 4.5VDC)
1a. AmigaForever.iso is the output of using the Build function in Amiga Forever player until Windows 7.
2. Present configuration is My MorphOS/System/Emulation/UAE (I renamed E-UAE to UAE to match online documentation.)
3. I downloaded the 160MB image from http://scruss.com/blog/2010/02/07/amiga-blank-hdf-images/
3a. I renamed unzipped file to HD160.hdf to match documentation
3b. I renamed unzipped file to black160.hdf to match documentation
4. I made 4 unsuccessful attempts to use workbench-311.hdf. I quit after the 4th attempt.

Reason for making the attempt of working Amiga Forever in MorphOS: It looked like a good idea; alternative to running Amiga Forever in Windows 7 in HD quality.

Does anyone have a working solution for me? Prior to installing MorphOS, I had PowerPC version of Debian "Jessie" Linux installed. fs-uae-launcher had trouble running any kind of Amiga emulation.

I've been having the exact same problems here, both on a mac mini g4 and a powermac g5 :(

I'm presuming installing Workbench via e-uae in MorphOS is an unresolvable error, so the quick solution is to bypass it. I won't be able to try that experiment until some time next week. Maybe someone else can try that experiment in the meantime.

I have gotten winuae built hdf files to work. However, my euae setups still freeze frequently and I need to reboot my MOS machine. :(

Finally, I have a WORKING SOLUTION! Now I can run A1200 and/or A500, full-screen or in a window on my iBook G4 using e-uae. I even got double-clicking on .ADF files to run in Ambient Screen, including Pac-Mania (my favorite) and Arkanoid. Now my next problem is... How do I post the details of how came up with a working solution??? I don't think I've posted enough in MorphZone to be able to upload pictures, yet.

For performance increase with A1200 emulation, you may want to use JIT-enabled E-UAE versions.
