Well, I use an ATI Radeon X800 with 1920x1200 @ 60 hz and 24bit and that works well. My bet is that a 7000 can too if it got enough VRAM.

1920x1200 is the absolute limit of these old radeon cards. Even at "just" FullHD they may loose sync once in a while, especially with DVI. VGA somehow works better. You may need to reduce display resolution to get it to work. Also try to avoid 24/32 bit screenmodes. Go for 16 bit to get the best value between vmem usage and colors.

You can update MorphOS. Just visit http://www.morphos.de and download the latest MorphOS 3.7 iso, burn a CD and boot it. There you can test if your hardware works better with most recent drivers.

There is no need to install. If you deceide to install, then please note that the unregistered version only works for around 30 minutes. Afterwards it gets slow and you need to reboot to get another 30 minutes of play time and so on.

You need to register MorphOS to get rid of the 30 Minute uptime limit.

I maybe test later morphos. Another idea is made 960x600. i want non scaled image. and if scaled is scaled way which dont make artefacts. even radeon x800 info is good becouse seems pricey Radeons work better. Saddöy i want use this display becouse my macs also use it and i dont have room or even money many good displays.

...unless you have a Pegasos, where the Radeon 7000 works better because the Radeon X800 doesn't work at all ;-)

1920x1200 on MorphOS 1.4 requires manual fiddling even with a Radeon 92x0 not sure if it will even work with a 7000 ( again VGA has better chances to work than DVI ). MorphOS 3.x will offer that resolution iut of box (again atleast for Radeon 9xxx).
Buying such a card is a good idea anyways as you woul want 64 or better 128MB VRAM.

Yeah. I don't really get why you want to stick with 1.4.5. There is such a huge difference to 3.7. It's like trying to figure out if Windows 8 is any good by playing around with Windows 95. It really doesn't tell you much.
