TORONTO -- The B.C. Lions picked up three of the four CFL player of the week awards Tuesday after a 40-23 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos in the West Division final last weekend. Defensive back Korey Banks was named defensive player of the week after registering six tackles and a 46-yard interception return. Lions kicker Paul McCallum took the special teams honour. He was perfect on all four field goal attempts and added four converts. McCallum also had five punts for 184 yards. Teammate Andrew Harris was named top Canadian after scoring two touchdowns in the victory. The running back had seven carries for 41 yards and added three catches for 29 yards. Winnipeg Blue Bombers running back Chris Garrett took the offensive player of the week honour. He had 29 carries for 190 yards and one touchdown in a 19-3 victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the East Division final. The Lions will host the Blue Bombers this Sunday in the Grey Cup game.
