Should be. iBook G4 support here has support info, and it appears all G4 iBooks are supported.

Wow, less than $50 a pop plus shipping. Or free pickup. Nice

50$ is o.k. for the 1.33GHz models (better GFX, USB-trackpad) and still o.k. for the 1.2s if you were buying for useing them yourselfes.

Problem is you will want to sell 44 of these units at which point it might be hard to turn a reasonable profit after shipping cost, handling and ebay-fees (if you sell them there).

Awful lot of missing parts there.

Not really, from what I understand they all have missing/defective rubber standoffs on the screen/lid.

Good luck finding an iBook with those still intact...

Mine was only missing the feet on the outside of the case.
Then there is the question of whether or not the batteries are any good.
I had to replace mine (and the charger).

And by the time you fix and find buyers for all these...
It just doesn't sound that profitable.

Maybe someone like Pascal could buy them, install MorphOS on them and sell them himself? I think the community would benefit being able to buy hardware from someone trustworthy. Even used hardware. If he would sell them for as low as 70$ plus MorphOS and shipping he would make a nice profit.

This reminds me of that (from half a year ago):

And some of you don't think Andreas has a sense of humor.

You know, I think redrumloa was interested in trying this awhile ago (refurbishing Apples for MorphoS users).
Maybe he could weigh in on the practicality of this idea.
