Hello guy's. I've tried to made some benchmarks but I can't reach the console. Normally it's the key beside "1", but there's no reaction by pressing this button. Any ideas how I can get into the console? Many thanks in advance.

PowerMac G5 2.7, Radeon 9800pro, MorphOS 3.3, last Crysalispack, Quake III Arena.

I found a solution by myself - I've changed the keylayout to "british". The benchmark results are:

Indeed. It might be that the PPC code created by Trance is not so favourable to PPC970. AFAIK, there haven't been any G5-specific optimizations made in Trance.

New Benchmark with MorphOS 3.4 - nice progress. ;) Thank you for the update - a big effort for the G5 user.

so, will a flashed 9800XT now be a worthy replacement for the mac edition 9000 pro 128Mb in my G4 ?

MorphOS 3.4 with same setup Pmac G5 & Radeon 9650, Quake 3 still crashes. I'll try my 9800 later today.

With 9800 XT 256MB and the same configuration used by Amike I have:
1260 frames
17.7 secs
71.2 fps !!
