    My G5 boots noticably slower on 3.3 than it did on 3.2 Anyone else but me experiencing this?

    I haven't noticed any serious slowdown, but I have disabled a lot of net boot options, etc, in openfirmware

    My PB actually feels a touch faster with 3.3.

    Haven't had time to upgrade my G5 yet but I'll let you know if I have any trouble with it.

    My Efika seems to boot quicker too, though I'm still having Gamma issues when loading apps and games that use their own screen.

    Well, mine boots slower. But not equally slow. Sometimes it's not as slow as others.

    No worries. It's not a big deal, just makes me wonder how come.

    When I put an SSD in my PB it was faster than an HDD but not as fast as I expected it to be. Since upgrading to 3.3 it feels faster all round so I'm wondering if there has been some changes under the hood to scsi.device and/or the filesystem etc?

    @Tcheco

    I don't have any exact numbers because I didn't think to take them before updating. And I really don't want to downgrade again. I would guess though that it's between 2 to 4 seconds extra.
