    Anyone out there to help me ??

    with windows 98SE, is sheduled tasks needed or can it be disabled, not sure what function is for ???? How DO I DISABLE IT?? Any help would be appreciated .... Lillian


    my peggy is back ordered from Ultraspec... but it maybe a while ... stuck with hand me down ..pc... meanwhile

    Sheduled tasks is for automatically running applications/utilities at set times, you can use it for running defrag at 8pm every sunday for example.

    So unless you need this feature, no it's not needed.

    Open Task Sheduler and go to the advanced tab and select 'stop using Task Sheduler'.

    To delete sheduled tasks; right click on a task and select delete.
