Creo que este tema ya surgio en algun otro thread. En todo caso, por lo que entendi entonces, es imposible instalarlo en una particion que empiece pasados los 4 primeros GB. Ademas, yo intente instalarlo en una particion de 5GB y tampoco me dejo... Asi que desde el instalador de Mac OS X tuve que dividir esa particion en una de 4 y otra de 1 ....

Si alguien sabe algo mas, que lo comparta :D

Yo estoy intentando instalarlo en un Pegasos 1.

Puse una particion de 5 gigas, casi al final del disco, creada como sfs en el scsiconfig , con el flag de bootable. El instalador del OSx me lo pillo a la primera.

El problema que tengo es que el instalador se me queda tonto siempre en el paso -Preparando el subsistema BSD-. El caso es que se queda ahi pillado, pero tampoco esta totalmente colgado, por que la barra del porcentaje sigue ondenado y el puntero se mueve.

Algun tipo de idea?

Yes there is a solution !
You should use macfdisk to make a rdb on your partition so mac os X will see it as a new drive...

Use macfdisk ? to show you the command (you should add a disk with the beginning and end sector but I can't remenber which commands it is ...

But I am not sure the command macfdisk is in pegxmac...
Someone could try ? (I have debian installed here)

I only can write this in Portugues Brasil or English so...

I Have a 20GB Seagate and my MOL (MACOS X) partition is a 6.5Gb /dev/hda5 and this partition begins after the 4Gb and a little before the 8Gb so i guess this Gb limitations before or after something is really not the problem, you can use the Disk tool in the OSX install CD1 and configure your partition, you probably will need to reboot MOL but works, to configure your partition call from the shell configmolrc.macosx and add the -force option in your /dev/hd"x""y" to make "OSX side" be able to do whatever they need in this partition.
