Thought the celebrations were tonight. Here (52°N - 8.5°E) there is not much happening on midsummer. It is said that my region (Teutoburg Forrest) is that where midsummer is celebrated most in Germany (dunno), but it seems to be mostly about some esoteric ppl and a few never ever learning nazis. Well, I just enjoy the long, long days and just "celebrated" my personal midsummer with an evening cycling tour that I finished a bit before midnight when the rain started. Just enjoyed the nice views from the hills at after 22:00, had a little snack and a little drink (no alcohol though, had to cycle a few kilomerters still), then rushed down the hills, eventually switched on the lamp and collected a few more kilometers before returning home.
