    I wonder if YDL 4.0 is for the Peg I.
    Is the Peg I also able to install YDL 4.0? If so......I like to know.

    I only can tell you that YDL works with Pegasos 1. No doubts. Unfortunatly I can't tell you how to install it but I'm sure someone will post this info shortly ;-)

    Hello,

    Is the YellowDog distribution localised in french ? I absolutely want to try/use linux in my native language, it will be more comprehensive.

    @Tapero,

    Can you give me a link to download Debian ppc ? I have had a look at Debian's home page but i did not find anything related to ppc.
    An other information please. What do you think about Mandrake ppc ? I have downloaded the 3 iso files, but before burning them on cdr i want to have some opinions about this distribution. Is it easy to install, how to perform install, is it easy to use ?

    When I try to boot the Image_InstallerSE CD I get the message

    > CD-ROM detected on Device
    > This is not the Image_Installer CD
    > Please, insert the Image_Installer CD in your drive and press enter

    I tried both a CD-RW and a CD-R. Any suggestions?

    for debian you should burn
    cdimage.debian.org/cdimage-testing/daily/powerpc/current/sarge-powerpc-netinst.iso

    then you will boot the cd, fill your network parameters and it will
    install all through the net

    Concerning Mandrake, AFAIK it is not ported yet on the Pegasos.

    @tapero:

    http://www.mandrakelinux.com/en/ftp.php3

    Mandrake 9.1 is ported on PowerPC so it works on Pegasos.
