I fear that the program's palette uses hardcoded pens - usually 0 to 15. On MorphOS, the lower pens are fixed as MWB colours so that MWB icons don't look like crap. That's why you're getting MWB colours.
I don't know if there's a way to turn this behaviour off.
Ah, ok. That makes sense. Looks like something I will have to live with. Or try another program, as others have suggested.
