I noticed we have a honorary member for this month(?) (and he definitely deserves it)

Was just thinking if that could be a "(bi?)monthly vote" between people having done generous donations, having done nice ports or original programs/games (quality/quantity) or something else?

What do you think? Would this work / be a good idea?

My original idea was that the "Honorary member of the month" shouldnt be necessarily every month, but only when someone truly deserves the award.

But I do like the idea of a votingsysten every now and then.

First of all, I certainly agree that AmigaHarry really deserves to be honorary member :)

I also think that the voting idea is an ok solution. However I don't think you should limit it to one member (as "member of the month" implies). As for example, with Marcik releasing the first KHTML-browser he is a candidate also, but one does not exlude the other ;)

EDIT: As a sidenote, the "honorary member"-button displays with an ugly gray frame around it in IE - perhaps the image should have a white background instead of alpha to look ok :)

Yes, that needs to fixed. Also maybe it would look better if the medal was in the middle.

Looks fine in IE7 on Vista.

It is part of a secret ploy to make people use Sputnik on MorphOS instead of IE6 (and below) on Windows 8-)
