Hi All,

Along with everything else that has been updated, changed, or fixed... We lost the original database for the images on MorphZone. However, we do still have all the photo's, images, and screengrabs.

With that said, I'm looking for suggestions on how to re-make the database. I can groups at a time, but every photo would be attributed to the webmaster, with simular titles etc.

So, I'm turning to you guys for ideas and suggestions. In other words, "help!"

well just a suggestion, although it may be way to much work. GIve people A week to reupload there images. then in a week you can look at image files you have left and put them up. Tell peopel to upload the same names. SO that you dont have to do any real looking. Although granted you probly will end up with a few duplicate, but should nto be a tond probly a 10% factor. Which over course of time people could report and would be fixed idonno jsut an idea.

Maybe what you said for a week or so, then just upload the rest into an "archived" section?

Hmm Reuploading is kinda problematic, as almost every Screenshot I made was done exclusive for MZ, meaning I don`t have a local copy of the pictures on my HD.

Do you think you could identify your grabs if you saw them in a list?

Sure :)

In that case, I'll generate some gallery pages via a little script and some thumbnails, to see if I can make some kind of ownership form for those with multiple pictures. (Or something...)

and i had my stuff linked from another site. that is to say the group that was all fractals was on one page and I used the address of that as the link. (i hope that's clear).

anyway, i guess it means i'd have to change my link addresses when it's all done.

in any case it should be easy for me to identify my stuff. most of them have my name on them

So it will be. Instead of any report form, just give me a PM when I am able to give you a url. There is a limit of 49 for me to put into any one gallery. If it's a single image, it would likely be easier for someone to download and reupload (again when the time comes).

I have a couple of other projects that have to be done first, but I *will* get to the images as soon as I can.
