Are you sure that PowerBook3,3 and PowerBook3,4 are supported? That's the first time I hear/read this.

I assume they are, because it reads at http://www.morphos-team.net/hardware

    Apple PowerBook G4**
    * * - Only models with a Radeon graphics chip are supported.

And those two have Radeons... so, unless someone has any better info, I'm leaning to believe that they are supported.

This same note was already there before any Titanium model was supported:

    http://web.archive.org/web/20131120051024/http://morphos-team.net/hardware

If the statement was misleading back then, I don't see how you can assume that it ensures support for all Titanium models with Radeon now.

That thread may be read as 3,5 being the only Titanium supported. It's ambiguous, admittedly. I also remember a discussion about this on the MorphOS mailing list to the effect that pre-3,5 PowerBooks are not supported. Let's hope the MorphOS team will clarify.

Talked with Frank on IRC little. They didn't have 3,3 or 3,4 to test, so only 3,5 is supported now, and homepage information is a bit inaccurate in that regard.

    What does that mean?

That they still haven't tested it and are unsure about how it would work, and will change their "official stance" because of this until they actually test it?

Or that they have tested it now and found out that it doesn't work?

    Great article BTW! ;-)

It's less about "official stance" than about actually whitelisting the hardware in MorphOS.

True. And "whitelisting" was actually what I meant with "official stance".

I added takemehomegrandma's great list of compatible systems from amiga.org to the library, and made small changes/updates:
    http://library.morph.zone/Supported_Computers

I'm still thinking what to do with images.. they'd add good value to the page, but I guess it would be good to ask permission if we'd use everymac images for example... or does anyone know any free to use Mac images?

And does anyone have any suggestions about other articles which should be added to the library? I can convert them there now when I got the routine :)

I think the library has been underused and it would be great to get it up-to-date place for everything MorphOS related.

    Thanks!

If I counted correctly, it seems like the Amiga One 500 (based on the Sam460ex/cr mainboard) became the 82:nd(!!!) system supported by MorphOS?

Or perhaps rather 82 and 83, since they are IMHO really two systems (slightly different specced motherboards, and also some different peripheral components in the system) even though they share the same name:

    Specs: Amiga One 500 (Old/Sam460ex)
    Specs: Amiga One 500 (New/Sam460cr)

    :-)

These system(s) should go in the list of Supported Computers I think! :-)

Also the "MorphOS will currently use a maximum of 1GB of memory on these G5 machines, even if more is installed in the machine" in the G5 part needs to be changed now.

Or even better - deleted, and replaced with some general information at the top of the page about MorphOS memory restraints, which apply to all supported machines.

https://acube-systemsbiz.serversicuro.it/shop/en/14-case-systems would be a better link for the Sam460cr-based AmigaOne 500 as there are as much as three different systems currently offered, not just one.

Few months ago I started to make a tutorial how to use several USB joysticks on MorphOS... but then I thought the article could be expanded to be generally about game controller support in MorphOS.... and then it was left unfinished :)

Anyway, I just added few things and made it public after all. If anyone has suggestions what it should contain, please tell. Or at least if you have tested any game controllers if they work or won't, I'll be happy to list them.

You'll find the article here: http://library.morph.zone/How_to_Use_Game_Controllers

    Good article about Game controllers.
I have tried a XBOX360 joypad with the MS usb cable and i can't use it. Trident shows a "?Running" state.
Don't know is I need a Pc USB adapter or what.
Will try a PS4 one meanwhile.
