    Hi morphers!

As always, when I publish an article, Raffaele (alias Raf_MegaByte) soon does its best to put me in the troubles. So "The Rise and Fall of Installation Procedures" (which was intended as a limited distribution article) has gained a larger audience, because Raffaele unveiled its existence at OSnews.

Many of the "aliens" who live there are friendly, but most of them are also unaware of hardware, software, history, motivations, and politics of our small world. So I had to post three times in that thread, just to explain things that are almost trivial for us (who are directly involved) but seem incomprehensible to an external audience.

I think that my three posts at OSnews may be interesting even for morphers, so I invite you to go there, read what's happening, and post something if you think it's useful.

Please note that this is not a subtle way to advertise further my article (given the number of reads of the news and the article itself, it seems that it has no need to be advertised, thank you!). What is really important in this moment is the necessity to give the correct impression of our community to the external world. Remember that Linux people and politics could be very important for the future of PegasosII and MorphOS, and for our whole community. This fact was forgot too many times in the Amiga community, and a small number of times even in the MorphOS community.

    Regards,
    DoctorMorbius_FP

    P.S.
I hope that the ARexx routines featured in my article run correctly as they should, otherwise, if only 1/10 of people who read the article will write me and complain, I would be lost forever...
