    Hi all,

The events subsite of morphzone, http://events.morph.zone , hasnt' seen much use in the last few months; mostly, because there are official Genesi channels for such things. However, I hate to see a good engine go to waste, so, I'm putting the question to YOU the users of morphzone--"What to do with it?"

There are several ideas of what to do, but this is definately open ended. It can be whatever we need it to be. The first part of the name "events." can be changed to suit whatever is required of the new direction.

    Some Ideas:

keep it as events.morph.zone, but have it be opened up to user-groups to help them publicize their own user-meetings, parties, and events.

make it an open blogger (weblog).

make it a membership based blogger.

    make it a developers' blogger.

change it to a user group information site (i.e., merge the site with the pegasos-world concept)

Other ideas are welcomed, naturally. Throw in your 2c. Make the site of your dreams.

Well, I think a developer's blogger is a good idea, but there is no way I can possibly promise that the core team would even consider using such. However, I could see people maybe posting info's about various "not included" apps and such.

Can we get a developer to ring in on this? Would such a thing be helpful to you?

Okay, the idea of a developer's blogger would be benefitial to everyone. I'm fairly certaint that I could hand over the reigns of admitting new users and such to an admin group, and then create another group for allowed discussion. Would such a thing be good to allow public viewing, or only other developers?

Developer only blog will be probably not very useful, as MOS developers have more efficient means of realtime communication.
