Rather than issue a bounty for what I want I would like to begin work on porting opensource to morph.

I see something in the bounties about a programming guide.
    Where is that on here?

I am a unix administrator by day.
    I am a certified microsoft MCP (server 2000, desktop 2000, XP, A+).
Before all of that I ran a software company for C64.
I began programming on a trash-80 in high school and produced many an app for the C64 in assembler. Very large apps.
I have read a book 'learn C in 24 hours' but never finished it.
I have delved into many things like Forth, CPM, x86 assembly, pascal, AmiBASIC, etc...
Nowadays I do unix shell scripting and perl and xsl.

I am interested in OpenVPN and other things.

I own a Powerbook G4 and a good backup system.

Well, C is the language of your choice when it comes to MorphOS development, but porting often includes C++.

So you should finish that book first and try to write some minor programs before going to the full porting stuff.

Great work on some much needed documentation, Grzegorz.

I have read the programmers guide and am finishing up the first section of C for dummies.
I will try to finish the C book by tuesday night and move on to C++ for even dumber people.
I don't need any info on software development as I ran a software company for a few years.
I have all of the concepts, just not how to implement in C.

I need a break down of what to look for when porting open source to Morph.

On chapter 8 of 27 chapters.
If you are brain dead about C then C for dummies will clear away the clutter.
Spent too many years programming full apps in assembler with my nose in asm monitors.

That was a book i read a long time ago and never finished. It deals with C++ also.
This is C for dummies...it takes longer for obvious reasons.
    :-P :-P :-P

    Besides, that's unfair.
No way can you master C in 24 hours.
